April 23 - 27 tentative schedule

Monday, April 23 - Tuesday, April 24:
1. Pass out final Science in the News grading rubric. SITN due date: May 4.
2. Chapter 4: Climate and Climate Change. Section 1 (study worksheet being provided to help with notes).
3. Section Activity
Homework: Review, besides that there should be none unless they have not completed the worksheet in class.

Wednesday, April 25 - Thursday, April 26:
1. Chapter 4: Climate and Climate Change. Section 2 (study worksheet being provided to help with notes).
2. Section Activity
Homework: Review, complete the worksheet if not done in class (although it should be), and work on Science in the News

Friday, April 27: Abbreviated schedule (20 minute classes). Assembly in the afternoon
1. Quick write on sections 1 and 2 (quiz their knowledge over the material covered this week). No notes allowed so students should be reviewing as we go.
Homework: Science in the News due date: May 4

  Monday, March 19:
1. Passed out packet (voted upon by classes to continue because it helped most).
2. Go over section 1 in packet
Homework: Vocabulary from section 2 (given last Thursday but not assigned until today)

Tuesday, March 20:
1. Pass in vocabulary
2. Read and go over section 2
Homework: none

Wednesday, March 21:
1. Latitude and longitude activities

Thursday, March 22 - Friday, March 23:
1. Tracking a hurricane lab
~ Pass out packets (passed them out to periods 1, 2, and 5 yesterday)
2. I modeled the first three steps and then the first two points from the coordinates given on step four.
3. Students should finish the tracking and answer the analysis questions. Friday we will go over them during the second half of class.
Homework: none

Monday, March 26:
1. Section 3 of packet
Homework: Finish anything from section 3 that we did not finish in class. Most classes will not have any homework.
